Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Where’s the boots ?

I walk thru dying Macy’s and notice a few things. A lot of Macy’s store don’t play music anymore. The outside landscaping it’s growing out of control with weeds everywhere . All the shoes look old and tired and this time of year there should be slots of boots. There’s only inc long boots and a few others. Store looks unkept and lack of merchandise .

LOL shoppers usually whine that we have TOO MUCH cold-weather merch this time of year.

And now, this one complains there aren't enough boots, even though it's upwards of 80 degrees across the country (and over 100 in the west)?

Some people just like complaining I guess.

All the Macy's in St. Louis look like dumps. Landscaping is weeds. Buildings are molding and have black mildew on the outside.

Who wants to buy boots anyway? Temps are still in triple digits among a lot of the country.

Umm the outside landscaping is not done my Macy’s. The mall or shopping center takes care of that. All the ones in my area play music but honestly it would be more peaceful if they didn’t. As far as shoes, our business in the Southwest has been phenomenal! No one seems to realize that while the country was shutdown for retail for 3 months so we’re the manufacturers. Our fall stuff is arriving. It’s just not quite a full season ahead as retail usually is which isn’t a bad thing
