You always have to look at trends in the business, retail has been declining from years back. First tell was My Verizon sign ups. We used to have hour long wait times, now a few customers here and there. It was inevitable and if you've been with Verizon longer than several years and didnt catch that, youre late. But there's still hope, well not in Retail, take advantage of all of free PluralSight, LinkedIn Learning, vzlearn, etc.. Sign up for PluralSight in VZlearn so you can log in at home and learn something buinsess or technical. Or slave away in retail and hope for severance. You choose. I left retail in 2015 for B2B, best decision I've ever made, its hard but so rewarding.

Low. What’s the point of trying if we all get the same checks?
Everyone in my store is on auto pilot. No one cares cause we can’t actually make money. The manager lets everyone in the store, families and all. (Those people still give bad surveys!) No one wants to help anyone and everyone is walking away from the door when people walk up hoping the manager doesn’t call on them to help someone. If the only way to make money is to go against me being safe, I’m not doing it and I don’t care what the store manager says and my co workers agree.
The lowest that I've ever seen. Unfortunately there's a few employees that keep buying in to the propaganda. The amount of ridiculous videos with the clowns that call themselves leadership giving these pep rallies and then turning around and making our lives living hell.
pretty low. verizon went from being awesome a few years back to being super greedy. no more incentives for employees. at least none that are worth doing. open enrollment is a joke with no incentives. i just hope we can hang in until they cut us loose with severance. im sure they want as many people to quit before then. however i hear verizon is hiring 1000 new employees?? i wonder what their starting pay is. pretty sure it would be much less than most.
