Is there anyone left is this little company Oracle purchased several years ago? Talk about terrible service to dealer channel and customers....

I see what you did there. Do not disagree.
Micros had a POS system, a natural fit with Oracle
Support staff for Micros 3700, E7, Simphony,Opera and other on premise products bore the brunt of the lay-off.
This includes both hardware and software teams, employees and managers alike.
However Oracle has intended and produced plans to convince businesses to migrate to Oracle cloud, more specifically cloud based POS or Simphony for as cheap as $30 per month.
The reduction in force which the on premises experienced was not out of a sudden, or it caught staff members by surprise, I remember that since Mar. 2020 I and my colleagues expected that soon we be laid-off, which materialized on June 2020.
