When is America going to wake up and realize these wall street pimps are using us and k–l them off. The economy only works from the bottom up not the top on down (trickle down). This country is on the verge of civil war because of those scum.

@1fqe
Try showing a little restraint when describing business actions that cost people their jobs.

AAU, it is a roaring success to the board and stockholders, not the employees ( please read the post). I don’t consider it a success as an employee, but the execs and board do. There will be more cuts to come. I also look for more crafts jobs to be contracted out and lines to be short-lined as happened on other RR’s.

And you're okay with it? Why do we need an executive team, when it's everyone on the outside making the decisions? That is why big corporations fail. The management team is what can make or break a company. If the management team fails, then the company will follow. The CEO just said in his last townhall about how they've called people back already, and then they do this? Companies don't last very long if they can't be trusted. The CEO is a habitual liar. People need to stop trusting him.

Hell is where all these greedy folks will be along with all of the bad folks in the world. They will meet their maker and be judged one would assume. A lot of bad people at the top and at wall street.

He'll also walk away with millions after he destroys this company too. Then he'll make another townhall video saying how great the company is, and how proud he is of the employees of UP. This round of cuts was inevitable. The ratio went back up, other executives were seen traveling to locations, and the fact that its been too quiet is what got me. That dumbshlt has to make good on his promises to the shareholders. He has to get the ratio to 55%. I can only guess his bonus is on the line. I hope he has fun in hell for everything he's doing to people.

Laying off 15,000 employees is a roaring success? That's not really the term I would've used to describe it.

When is everyone going to realize the company leadership, board of directors, and stockholders don’t care one bit about the employees? The CEO is doing exactly what the board and the majority stockholders want. The people that work for this (or any other company for that matter) are only numbers to them. We fill a slot in the organization, nothing more, and when we can be eliminated, they will do so with no remorse. As long as the stock price is high and the company is profitable, the same path will be followed. As to the 15000 employees laid off, they see this as a roaring success. It’s every companies wish to eliminate headcount and remain profitable. This s—s for the working class, but is reality in the world we live in.

Awful people. Unethical in every way. S—ing the wealth from the middle class for people who couldn't spend all that money in 5 lifetimes.
