Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Wrong people were called back!

90% of the people (most older with years of service) who gave the store everything they had through rain or sunshine were not called back. They were the people us younger folks leaned on for knowledge and guidance not our irresponsible, bias, stereotypical store manager. The store manager had the opportunity to call back the "nodders and yessers." If you asked questions and challenge wrongdoing you are still at home. Those who are still in the store are holding their own and as we know what "charma " does. Evil prevails at the highest levels which makes it even more dangerous. Get in good trouble people and pray for us.

Couldn't agree more with you, @xqe+16B3qgrn. This needed to be on top.

This doesn’t apply in my store. The entire support team was called back all with 15 to 30 years experIence. Now I am not saying it’s great to be back but here we all are.

Can't agree with you. The ones still in furlough in my store were the problem ones, who had complaints about their service, poor attendance, questionable handling of money, etc. Several people I don't care to ever see working there again.

Yes, does anyone really understand the depth of mistrust, dishonesty, discrimination, hostility, and poor management exist? It can be seen on a daily basis. The most important things to drive sales are totally missed and petty things are put in the forefront. That lead to demise so stop oppressing the people who are willing to work!!!
