We have been having several associates visit our club from Home Office. Several of us have noticed and wonder why they do not follow the Sam’s Club dress code. They show up in sandals, flip flops, sleeveless dresses and tops. I understand they are HO but shouldn’t they follow our dress code when in clubs like the rest of us?

In my club we have an associate, who goes to work with open toe shoes, or high heel wedges ,sleeveless tops! She can do it but no one else can’t.
Sam’s does not have only one across the board dress code. Many departments have specific codes. There are even minor differences between management, salaried, hourly, and corporate. You can look them up on the wire if you have access to corporate logons. I have visited HQ and they DEFINITELY have different dress and appearance. I still didn’t see piercings or trendy hair colors though. But I did see casual clothing and shoes.
It is hard to "respect" an authority figure who doesn't observe the same rules and regulations he/she can terminate your employment for if you don't observe or obey.
Sometimes local corporate people will visit our club on weekends for a quick inspection or to take care of some matter or another. I understand they might be a bit more casual in their dress, but they still should follow the basic guidelines of the dress code. Maybe have an appropriate pair of shoes in the car to change into out of the flip flops for starters.
Do as I say. Not as I do.
H O people showed up not wearing masks.
Leading by example is not fashionable apparently. Pathetic.
The associates at my club don't follow the dress code and managers don't say a word. And we do know that H O people think they are above the rules.
Rules don't apply to your masters. Peasants should never question their masters. /s
