Telesales Transition

Hey everyone. I’m currently a retail SS here in Florida. My store wasn’t closed but I did apply for the rep telesales position and already had my interview (tomorrow will mark 2 weeks) and the interview itself went really well and I’m confident I will get the position but was wondering if anyone had any info on when I should be hearing back? I heard start dates were September 6 & 20 ? Curious if anyone has any info

Be patient, it’ll be well worth it. Your target commission will be almost doubt what it is now. A average retail rep that goes to telesales will certainly make more money then your good retail reps in regards to commission. And you don’t even have to sling hum

The official word was over 3,000 applied for telesales and 900-1000 openings. The majority of applicants were mid to high performers that were probably making 2k-4K checks. The hiring takes into account that 20% of those hired will quit within a year. Telesales is a whole different animal and most retail store reps don’t like being on the phones in the store. It’s a major job change to say the least.

Everyone got an interview. That was to weed out. Then pushed to recruiters. Thousands of people applied... But no one knows how many positions they will actually going to fill.

There was already a telesales posting no need for another one . From what I heard the position starts oct 1st. They are still interviewing candidates....

So NORMALLY they would fill the telesales supervisor role first then the the reps shortly after. They are still in the process of filling all the telesales sup jobs.
