So how many of you think it is okay to give these new FT positions that pay more to associates with less than three months on the job? I mean really. Our club is passing up experienced people who have to train the ones who got the new jobs. What a slap in the face Sam's Club/Home Office. You people don't give a damn about the long term hard working associates. This should be fun to watch.

I applied and I was interviewed for the specialist position...However I keep getting emails about taking the Shaker Assessment....I took one test already...Anyone know what this is?
What is wrong with this picture? If you aren't favored at your club, you will go no where! Don't stay at a place that is so awful....and they are awful! Let them have their little Mickey Mouse Club and all of us that have been stomped on have either already gotten away or hopefully, will sooner rather than later. You can't gain a thing by being there and hopefully you can go somewhere that values your work and grow with whatever company you choose, before you are too old to do so!
Don’t even get me started about the new starting wage for front end, and my fifteen years with the company and being bumped up to that new hourly wage😡 Just so wrong!!
Just watch what happens in this new job. I think some will be glad they took it. There will be big quotas.
Scan & Go it the big push now.It is not going to be easy to sell this and upgrades at self checkout.
If you think you would be good at this just wait because there will be some that will have to step out of this.
One of the people who got the member specialist position in our club was turned down for an MSS spot due to numerous customer complaints. Now she gets rewarded by getting one of these new spots. She is rude and pushy, good luck is all I can say. Some people didn't even get interviewed, so sad. Lots of people looking for new jobs.
This company does not want people who want to get ahead. They want people who want to do the LEAST amount of work until they get a better job. Pay a good employee that can handle everything thrown at them a little more or hire a new employee that doesn’t want to learn and doesn’t care??? Hmmm ???
It's the Sam's and Walmart way of getting rid of long time associates. They just hope those long timers quit and they may not have to pay unemployment. Then they can pay those newbies less than what they pay you. Look at how they feed off of the associates....buy stock, donate to this or that...it's nonsense. Not a good place any longer. Sorry and no it isn't fair but it is the Sam's and Walmart way now.
That company could care less about the individual. They want quantity not quality! Hopefully you don't stick around to watch anything!
Listen up Sam's Club Mangement and Home Office, you are treating your longtime employees like c-ap. What is going happen? Oh I will still do my job, however I will not bail out your front end like I have been for months...cashiering, running, covering the door, covering self checkouts, answering the phones after they have been allowed to ring for 10 minutes or more. My job is merchandising and that is where I will be keeping the store in order and helping members on the floor. To deliberately cut out people who have more experience and give it to new people who have none is ridiculous. From now on for me, this is just a paycheck, nothing more. I will rise above this while watching your sh– show of a front end falter.
It’s not fair, I went to fullfillment and was told I couldn’t apply for member specialist because I was no longer part of the front end, even though I worked membership/ member support for 6 years... instead they will give it to someone that’s been with the company for a month
