Question? Have anyone hear anything about merchandisers and produce supposed to get a raise? $15.86

Well they deserve one why pay a cashier to stand up there at self check that been there 1 mo. 16 hour. Screw that merchandisers lift a lot and it's hard job
Forklift drivers at my club are forced to always work overtime an hour every night, and sometimes two. Can't leave till everything is full and perfect. If they leave on time and it looks bad they get coached so it IS FORCED! Yeah they get a couple extra bucks, but it definitely isn't worth it. Anywhere else they would be getting 20 an hour if they had to work as hard as they do at my club.
Every person in our club deserves to be at least $15 an hour. Our store is a mess due to the remodel going on. Everyday we come into pallets left in aisles. Both produce, freezer/cooler people and merchandisers work their butts off. Not only do we zone, stock, we are constantly stopped by members. We are always helping members find their items. I'm not saying cashiers don't deserve a raise, but they are not out on the floor making sure members are taken care of and making sure the store is presentable. We have to take all the abuse when an item is out of stock. We have to put up with the angry members. We have to take care of them. What is corporate thinking? I will say this again, paying people more will not stop them from calling in and if they are not a good employee, well they will continue their ways, more money or not.
Only our evening drivers got pay bumped in central ohio
Not going to pay merchandisers more than the 5 forklift operators that got there pay bumped to 15 an hour 3 or 4 months ago. Merchandiser may eventually get bumped to 14 or 15 an hour.
I wouldn’t think about it, with wage increases there’s always a catch.
No, Merchandisers will not receive a pay increase. Maybe Later sometime next year.
