Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

I have no problems with people that call out maybe they have stuff going on in their lives that no one knows about, people need to stop judging others without knowing the facts

I don't see what the problem is. If they don't come to work, they don't get paid. Eventually they'll figure it out.

We're not having anymore call offs than usual. Frankly, if someone's sick, has family issues, childcare issues, problems getting to work, I would rather they can stay home without feeling like a complete slob.

Well I'm sure that all of the ones that take advantage of the no point system is excited.

The person who wants cashiers eliminated..do u have a clue?? 1st of all without cashiers say bye bye to Sam's share. You DO realize? They are driving force of bonuses based oh upgraded credit card offers and membership renewals. Not to mention they do EVERY other job in the club as backup for the shortcomings of all other departments such as lot attendant clothing bakery cafe has hardlunes...you get the point YET??

But if you keep calling off and go onto the exception report for not enough full time hours you get written up and threatened that they will knock you down to part time. Doesn't make much sense.

Yeah August 31st they need to go ahead and just ended for the rest of the year cuz it keep pushing it back keep pushing it back and I also heard block schedules going away to I seen that up Reddit

I hope they go ahead and eliminate the cashier position this is where most of the absenteeism is occurring go ahead make every register self check out and lets use that payroll for people who want to work.

You guys do realize this isnt going away anytime soon. They are extending it month by month. With the cases rising, I doubt it the point system will be back this year. It’s a huge liability for the company to enforce a attendance point system in these times. Enjoy your call offs everyone. You guys deserve it after getting screwed year after year
