HPE Today: Layoffs, then layoffs followed with even more layoffs
Layoffs, more layoffs, then more layoffs, that's the mantra. Layoffs at HPE never stop, OK? You'll get used to this very quickly and people hunker down, to whatever minimum job they need to do, they forget about clients, quality, service, customer service, etc. Clients suffer. Everyone is so numb to layoffs now - stay afloat is the mantra, survive...

True then, and more than ever, true today.

Indeed a post that’s aged extremely well. Seems like it’s even more today because HPE is losing the battle in supply chain management and competitive prowess. Management has also been extremely reactionary. All of a sudden, programs are being canceled left and right because of poor allocation of cash flow.

When you stop making new products, you’re basically forcing marketing to tell the customers what they know already.

HPE is in a mess and will continue to be in a mess for a long time. God bless those people with excellent talent that is being butchered by damnable subjective bureaucratic decisions.

It's been like this for 20yrs. Carley started the layoff ball rolling, followed by Hurd. This company has been in a downward spiral for 20yrs and it's never going to get better.
