Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Looks like July hit will be bigger?

if it's 10% or 6000, we have not seen enough.

The next batch in July will be much larger?

Most announcements were already done. July 1 should be go live for new teams, announcements made before. For my org, no changes any time soon but reduction in contractors.

Leaner and meaner. Just what HPE requires to integrate SGI,Cray and others.

L0 is Antonio, L1 is VPs that report directly to him, and so on down. Post below says L3/L4 level is making decisions.

It’s observed that some of the managers are misusing this to clear the people they don’t like ( internal politics)in some cases even more WFR than what has been requested from top mgmt. customers will suffer for sure

I've seen many references to 7/13 as the next date in other posts

When do you believe this second wave will begin? What percentage do you believe have been let go already?

And now HPE management will convince themselves that all of the remaining employees will be so good they will invent a new iPhone type device everyday. Just what then need.

20% being let go? By when? That number honestly seems unrealistic.

Heard this goes upto 20% (including frontline sales ) all depends on based on how much to your location is over staffed ..

It means that upper level management has been established - you may notice some gracefully exiting by taking retirement. Now the teams are being designed - how many do they need and what positions - like musical chairs - there are more people than chairs - question is, will we have a chair when the music stops? Well your manager is working on that with their manager right now.

Can you explain the last post in simpler terms please? Also, Who do you think will be targeted this round?

I agree - the L3 management announcements were just released - Now your direct manager is working with L3/L4 to craft your new team effective 7/1. This is where big decisions are being made. I think the 7/13 notification date could be very big.
