Anyone know how telesales will get paid going forward? What is the at risk? What’s the highest multiplier that can be hit?

Telesales is around 35k base plus at risk of 15k. Base is higher depending on how long you've been with company. Commission is all about individual performance on same metrics as retail was before team commissions.. new lines, upgrades, bucket
Those that think Telesales is the way to go think again. There is a reason if verizon keeps Telesales comp and changes the stores. Think about it. They wouldn't do this unless there is a reason.
50k base is about right.
No way they make that much...
I’m also curious how telesales will work out long term. Currently im WFH telesales, first week it was brutal not knowing what to do training was worthless didn’t teach us much on how the system worked. However I’m doing a lot better now and actually enjoying Telesales(ie save gas, don’t have to deal w/ box counts, no closing or opening procedures) the list goes on . I’m considering doing WFG from now on, they said Telesales would be available long term.
My only concerns are 1. Are they really going to do one team commission like retail .
- Are we able to go back to stores within a couple of years ? Or stay wfh forever ?
- Are we going to be the first to be laid off ?
If someone currently works from Telesales please chime in i would love to hear how the Telesales life works. So many questions . For those thinking of wfh I would definitely recommend it, been hearing from my retail store co workers it’s bad times at the store right now .
Rumors are telesales also not getting paid for Upgrades. That is most of what they do
They have not released any solid info regarding telesales and a new pay plan going forward. There is no reason Telesales should not be on the same team commissions as a retail store. The way Telesales works is that so many are already on a team working under one supervisor. It can and should be set up exactly like the retail store pay plan. Don’t let management s—er you in to doing telesales. They want to cut back 40 hour jobs in stores and this is one way in doing it.
they're going to the same comp plan as retail, just on an individual bases. Their IA might be a bit higher due not working in a retail location, but overall is the same comp plan
Everybody keeps wanting to jump to telesales thinking the grass will be greener but it isn't.
Do some research and speak with your GM and HR rep to get a shadow day with a telesales rep. They're the only ones who can tell you for sure
That was a dumb reply
50K base plus commission
