Whether we find out Who this month or next is yet to be seen, but I do not believe we will be told ‘how many’. They NEVER tell us how many.

ATO has been told to expect to hear on 6/15 who is to be cut. Exits by 7/1. WARN notices to be issued on 6/15, using the "natural disaster" exception that allows 14 days notice instead of 60.
And, no, companies tend not to do layoffs or firings on Fridays, because that's documented to allow the weekend for folks to stew and come back on Monday with a gun or something.
Of course, that implies rational behavior on AT&T's part, which has been in short supply.
Still, Monday is the day ATO folks expect to hear both who and how many get the ax.
June 14th is a Sunday? These thing generally do not take place on a Monday which is the 15th....From what I have seen it is generally on a Friday so folks can cool out over the weekend.
“Transformation” of the mobility advanced sales group was announced via a web conference yesterday. There were 2-3 questions allowed to be read from the employee muted attendees that were far from hard questions. Within 45-60 days the entire “transformation” process will be complete; however, managers at VP level have implied it could start as early as the end of the week. Meanwhile, the organization was instructed to “keep working” for the good of the company at the same time it was said that the “transformation” was in the best interest of the business customers. Meanwhile incoming CEO, John Stankey, gets a 36% raise and outgoing CEO, Randall Stephenson gets a retirement package of roughly 250 THOUSAND DOLLARS A MONTH not including deferred dividend payments. A list of internal job openings were emailed to AT&T mobility employees; most lower level positions that would include significant pay cuts. The best part is the internal applications are required to be submitted June 11, a few days after employees were notified.

I’m glad they are not dragging this out any further. Four years of this is enough. It was distressing when they said several weeks ago they were going to continue all the BS for another 3 years. Just get it over with and finally be done!!
Budgets have already been re calibrated to reflect layoffs in June. New financial tracking starts with the month of July.

I just don’t see AT&T carrying employees for another 2 months given the aggressive 14 day window off the books declaration. You have too many events occurring in June. There will be investor guidance and quarterly dividend payments, not to mention pro rata bonus for next year.

If it is in June i expect it will take place on 6/12 or 6/15. But I have my doubts because we are just days away and based on everything posted on this board there have been no credible leaks that line up with those dates. Usually we see credible info within days of the surplus event.
They can send out emails on Sunday, have them in your inbox first thing on Monday!!
Not true. There have already been several credible posts indicating at least two phases. One in July and the other in September. These posts also indicate the phases are by organization.
