So now when empty pallets get all backed up.....they have to be stored inside the building....causing massive overcrowding in an already crowded dock. So let me get this right.....someone in home office feels that a potential rioter could take one of these 50lb pallets and use it to throw through a window. Firstly they would have to ascend 18 pallets to get to the top pallet......then walk about 200 yards around the building to the only glass that's part of the structure. Wow...incredibly mindless upper management....but as long as I hear Dougy tell me how great we all are I guess this is a non issue..

If we ever put pallets outside they get stolen immediately. We even have to lock up the bales.
There are woods right behind our club, perfect for burning. The pallets do not create a greater fire hazard. They don’t always pick up the pallet trailers when they’re scheduled, thus the backups. It has nothing to do with getting more trucks scheduled. Our bails also sit outside, they can be burned as well. We haven’t been told its mandatory to keep empties inside, just suggested, so I’m just gonna keep doing what I do.

Who is the mo–n that insists that pallets cannot be stacked higher than 15 high unless they are on the trailer?
Call cheap and get on a set pick up schedule, twice a week, three times a week, whatever works for your club. Did that at the last two clubs I was at.
As a once wise philosopher stated: " If they only had a brain "
Fire hazard. Plain and simple. Find room inside and make it work. Stop slacking and get more pallet truck scheduled.
