Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Self-awareness not mandatory at OFD

COVID issue has exposed OFD leadership and all of the little corporate puppets that mindlessly fall in line. The presenters want to be heard keep on jabberIng through the meetings assuming that we actually listen to the BULL**** updates. Please, I beg you, stop wasting our time with the RAH RAH calls and reprioritize the many, many, MANY burning issues that need to be fixed (hint hint..................EPS / DC services). always the same garbage over and over and over again given by the same corporate puppets to make the OFD leadership proud. Our BUs are laughing at you all on mute.

The debt load was a huge gamble and when covid hit it cost Jeff his job. Ironic since it was franks debt load that caused it. But either way digging out of this is going to require significant cash from operations

The boys will not stand for this $100 stock price for much longer. The overall market is certainly a drag, but the real issue is the massive first data debt. To get a handle on that, I fear what radical changes they will implement

The best time to have left was last fall. Good severance, great job market and no competition against your ex-colleagues.

Having Fiserv on your resume now is being a negative in the market, the longer you wait the worse it will get. Recruiters realize the top talent has left by now

ITIL is solving all that. Just put a bunch of retreads on a problem, that’ll help

DC services - is that a real thing? With the way the DC’s look, how they are neglected, how they run and more importantly - how they are continually failing - I didn’t know we had DC services. How would I be able to tell? MW said on a call once that most of our DC’s are tier 1 or less - that doesn’t sound good. Do our financial institution customers know this? How do you create confidence in our product offerings when the dc’s operate like they do? I’m just shocked overall by the term dc services because it feels so ad-hoc - no rules, no security, neglect, tier 1, etc.

Not sure about laughing. I am certain that a lot of them are updating their resumes on a second device and/or browsing LinkedIn on their phones...
