Was the whole commission thing done specifically to get people to quit on their own and save them a buttload of money in the process? Because it certainly seems so from where I'm standing...

I have a couple of friends who are SMB reps, I wonder what will happen to them. Feel bad for everyone impacted.

Yes. They want to use the express stores model across retail. Cheap employees that fill orders and hand over phones. That is it.
And it seems to be working!
