A ups rep let it slip (according to him) that B&N is buying out Follett.
Anyone else here any rumors?

Rumors are entrainment for id–ts
The FHEG division is a loser. B&T and FSS are where the money is at. Auf wiedersehen FHEG.
PC was a UPS driver before his CEO gigs..
Left Follett to go back to his UPS driver gig.
I heard UPS is buying both companies and we’re just going to be sorting facilities.
My UPS driver is not only a millionaire but a moonlighting crime-fighter. He wears a cape and mask to hide his identity. He also played bass for Steel Dan in the studio and brews his own micro-beer that he sells to North Koreans. Yes, UPS drivers are not who you think they are,
With a privately held company, the company stock price is set by a valuation (done by an accountancy company). The valuation is divided by the number of outstanding shares. There is your stock price.
Dividends are a share of the company's profits paid back the company's owners. By being an owner, you become more wealthy by making your company more valuable (stock price goes up) and by running an efficient company (profits increase, so dividends increase).
the follett ownership doesn't offer much value to itself or anyone else.
Follett share price has declined every years since 2012.
How do you know?
It's private (family) stock. Who sets the value?
Maybe the family says it's worth more?
Dividends growing due to increased value of stock!
Done all the right things! Laid off FT, benefited associates. Got rid of 401K match!
Cut labor to the bone! Yeah!
Declined or increased? Maybe TL will open the books and share with the outside world?
What brown do for you? Obviously, pretty much anything! Amazing insider knowledge.
My UPS driver’s got the inside scoop on everything: top secret business deals, insider stock information, and recipes from world famous restaurants. He’s actually a self made billionaire from all his connections, but hides his true identity by working as a delivery man!
This makes perfect sense. Eliminate the competition for lease percentages with the university. If it is only B&N, the rent percentages will go way down. In addition, there is synergy in buying etc. B&N can get rid of all the Follett dead weight in leadership positions. If you were a Follett family member, wouldn't you want to sell this company? Follett share price has declined every years since 2012.
I doubt that BN would want Follett's millions of dollars’ worth of dead inventory.
Get real. UPS rep! BNED is struggling just as much if not worse than FHEG!
