So basically Verizon rewarded all the underachiever bottom feeding reps today and punished those who actually made quota month after month. Great job! They now have gone to a communistic business model in the retail stores.

Lmao at all this bickering of integrity vs slammers. Y’all are missing the point entirely. We made more online sales than Christmas and Black Friday combined. Rev gen from stores don’t matter anymore
The verizon corporate color is red because this company will s— the life out of it's employees and customers.
All the years of slamming tablets, jetpacks, and hums, and people thought the day of judgement would never come. Now us honest reps can rejoice, and work with integrity.
@xtn- I don’t agree with that being any sort of point even with the virus. The main point really is that historically when a company takes away individualized quotas and commission sales and revenue dramatically drops. This has been experimented with retail department stores and car sales in the past and failed miserably. Dropping commission pay plans has actually led to companies going out of business....believe it or not.

The Main point is Covid 19 is still with us.Do you believe that the stores will ever have 10 people in the que ever again so you can achieve quota s that were very high?
So.. all of the f— heads that dropped jetpacks and hums... With every sale... Now have to be honest. Oh dear!. You f—ers were always on your day off when the old couple would come back in with their bill showing the jetpack has a $20 line fee...
@ Tom , yeah man I understand all of your points. The only defense I have for those box pushers is that they did not develop how the commission system worked. Verizon made it quite clear in the quota communication every month how many boxes were needed to hit multipliers. This has been going on for two decades. I know hard to believe right ? You also have to remember that management pushed reps into slamming etc. I do agree that the lazy reps got a gift from Verizon today.
Got um
I agree last poster, that stuff happens. But some of us hit a big check a few times a year by honest hard work. We are out there. It hurts us too.
I feel bad for all the “overachieving” reps. They have spent years perfecting the art of cherry picking customers and ignoring problems.
All the time and effort spent screwing over customers by slamming them with c-ap just so that they could hit their next multiplyer. Consistently not disclosing activation fees and recurring monthly charges or stipulations to promotions so that the customer gets their next month bill and comes back p-ss-d off.
But of course when the angry customer comes back they pretend they don’t see them so another rep has to deal with the issue.
And because they are an “overachieving” rep the managers look the other way and don’t deal with the issue of them lying or not disclosing just to make a sale. They just let the rep who had nothing to do with the transaction deal with the issue cause they ain’t coming out from the back to talk to the angry customer.
The perfect system and Verizon just had to go mess it up. How on earth will the “overachievers” maintain their fabulous lifestyle?!?
