Okay as an opening Cart Attendant one of my tasks is making sure that cart bay is clean as well as parking lot and around the building. When it comes to verifying this task it is basically nitpicked.
Today I made sure the parking lot was as clean as I was going to get it. (Like I do everyday.) I used a extended grabber and bag and walked around the parking lot and building to pick up most of the trash. Later I was called over the radio by a COS(CO-Supervisor) who took me to the parking lot and made me spend 2 hours nitpicking. When I say nitpicking I mean finding the tiniest pieces of trash the size of a c-gare–e butt and whatever small tiny pieces of trash she could find. She made me look over and over in the same area for the smallest piece of trash. She said that management drives around the building and see the trash. She said every morning she is working I have to get verified the parking lot is clean.
This same COS threatened me with a coaching if the parking lot was not spotless. I feel like it was nitpicking that the parking lot was not clean. What should I do. My club manager also nitpicks when it comes to picking up trash around the club so I think it was his idea.
