Upper Management is debating weather or not to make home garage permanent for some on a volunteer basis. I think it would be great for some techs and also beneficial to Verizon modt importantly.

What about truck sharing. Is that going to stop.how about bouncing tech from truck to truck cause they dont have a truck assigned to them

The vendors / contractors have cost VZ money. You over simplify the issue. The bottom line is Vz's work force has helped Vz become a premier communication company. Vz and the union have been working on cost sharing in past contracts. Vz has been happy with the outcome. The contracts have been extended. Those are the facts. High end companies can't pay minimum wages and expect quality high tech performance.
Their are issues with vendors. If you over see them then you know.

It will last until the guy I saw cleaning his gutters on company time with the ladder off his van, falls and gets hurt, ruining it for everyone else.
You meant whether, not weather (rain, temp etc).
