Minimum wage is headed for $11 an hour on January 1st. I am currently making $11.22 and have been employed since Nov 2018. I sincerely hope the bigwigs start paying us like Amazon or Target or you will have a massive loss of experienced associates.

Oh yeah, the world’s largest employer will have a massive loss, let’s be realistic, there will always be dumb people who accept the job at $11, if you are uneducated or just as a second source of income that’s fine, but accepting this job and then complaining that you will quit is absolutely childish, sounds like you still live at home.
I don’t understand, it simply baffles me, why would you take the job @$11per hr.
Did someone not explain how raises work.
Stop complaining and go to Amazon or Target, I always see these posts about pay, it scares me how stupid people really are.
In 4 years I've only got the 2% once. I started at 10 then our store minimum went to 11. Last year our store went to 12 so I went to that but didn't get that 2%.
Personally I think we got ripped off as usual. We should of went to whatever they were bringing it up to and gotten the 2% but you know Sam's.
They don't care about any employees...just their buddies! There really are places out there that appreciate their employees.
If you stay in the same job, then yeah, you won't make much no matter how long you're there. Put in for one of the jobs that pays more. Fresh, tire and battery, ect. Your life, your money, make it count.
They already start paying $11 on our club 2yrs ago. Now they said it will be $15. Who knows.
That's what they want. If you leave, then they'll save money by not paying you for more vacation time. Sam's doesn't give a damn about you. They just want to save payroll dollars.
You will get a 25 cent raise I was making 13 a hour and minimum went up to 13 so they put me at 13.25 then in February when we get our yearly wage I got a whole 27 cents so now I’m making 13.57😡😡
If you think the powers-that-be care about lower level employees, you are mistaken.
