I missed the first 10 min of this waste of time meeting. What is the pivot?

Since Hon will release earnings on Friday morning, any spin off announcement would be before that, probably Thursday afternoon. IF there is to be a spin off.

Great question. Made in the USA? Every mask has been from China. No problemo. AZ will have immunity in 2 weeks.

Me thinks The Pivot will be from a hardware supplier to a software/services supplier. However, if the hardware you make supports the software/service, you're good. Or maybe not?

Pivoting from a benefits laggard to a benefits leader? From treating employees like s**t to treating them like their most valuable resource? From prioritizing shareholders to prioritizing employees? All those would be great but unfortunately that's not what we're gonna get; they simply don't care.

Before HON "pivots" here's a lesson from GE on their own "software company" failures. Future shape this mess. https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-dimming-of-ges-bold-digital-dreams-11595044802?mod=itp_wsj&mod=&mod=djemITP_h

HON employees only. Pivot from manufacturing to a "services" company. Aero will be spun off. Not certain about HBT. No one in their right might would buy it now. Look for a public announcement before the town hall. Has to be announced before earnings release to keep the shareholders from suing them.

Pivot is used as either:
a verb, as to quickly change direction (such as with PPE)
or
a noun, where it is the center point or shaft (which we are familiar with)

Either way it would be applicable to Honeywell.

Interesting that Honeywell was given so much coverage on their mobilization of mask production months ago when POTUS visited the Phoenix area site, but we still cannot buy a mask that is made in the USA. All (or at least 99%, to coin a number tossed around recently) from China. Are they all going to first responders and health care professionals?
