Do you still get your W-2 even if you've been laid off? How do you get it?
Also, I was laid off from Macy's on June 30th. When will I recieve my severance package?

If you still have access to Insite, download your final paystub. It is not the same as a W2, but it is close in that it shows total withheld for the year. Make sure it’s the final paystub that includes your PTO payout and severance.
I used mine to preview my taxes after getting laid off back in 2018.
You will still get your electronic W-2 as a termed associate if you had it that way as an active one. You will get an email that tells you it's ready and how to get it.
You will get it as a termed associate by mail if you got it that way as an active one. If you move you have to contact Macy's HR Services to change your address because they are NOT forwarded by the post office.
Don't call the stores, they can't help you with this.

Its 7/13... haven't gotten anything yet. They really "care" about their former colleagues who have been with them for decades.. very sad.
Your W2 is not mailed and hasn’t been for years FYI, if you’re not set up for online INSITE then you need to contact hr services and there is literally an extension for W2!
without doing anything ,you will get your W2 by mail in January 2021.

I assume we will get our W2 when we usually get them, in January. People said it is hard to get in touch with Human Resources but you can try to call them and see. The email we got when we lost our jobs said we should get the severance information by July 15th. Of course Macy’s is waiting til the last second.
