Unique Cultural Double-Speak at Enbridge

I am sitting on the side lines and keep reading terms such as "People Person", fascinating. One might think that a superior being ( some benevolent some not ) has to deal with subhuman mortals.

VWO, BOFF, BIFF, S___ Show, I____t, – just a few examples, may contain errors and is not all inclusive.

When a future business case is written about your corporate culture, it must have a glossary.

" People Person" - sounds like you may have been abducted by UFO type entities and repeatedly probed!??!??

Any other terms that need to be added or clarified?

Let the dead sleep! Oh but Strategic Planning has come up with a new approach for PROgrams.

First make up the acronym then figure out a PROgram to fit it. I wonder how much a creative acronym maker upper Is paid?

TEAM is the big word these days, also everything you suggest is good, great and fantastic, usually the people leaders learn the latest from organizational behavior specialists. If you attend university you will see they are being taught the current curriculum.
It's kinda funny to listen to them talk and know how they will respond to try and motivate you, but do no work themselves.

If my People Leader was a People Person, I wouldn’t have applied.

You aren’t wrong at all. For the record, it’s People Leader - meaning the person that you report to.

Yes, it is all very weird and because of it, employees often don’t use those terms or state them incorrectly. Enbridge over complicates EVERYTHING.

I worked at Spectra/Enbridge TREBTMSS ( Thankfully Retired Early Before The Main S— S—)

The new culture seems to love acronyms especially TLA-s (three letter acronyms). Is there an address or website where I can get a secret decoder ring?

Seriously, I googled VWO for a defition, there are 32 options from https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/VWO - examples

Voluntary Welfare Organization (is this close)

Valves Wide Open (may apply if referencing ELT BS)

Verticillium Wilt Of (sounds like something you don't want to get)

Voice of Women Organization. (Please do not start a RANT on this)

BOTTOM LINE: if I get a definition I can add it to https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/VWO
