Thread regarding SeaWorld Entertainment Inc. layoffs

Let's all start buying SEA shares

if we all buy the cheap SEA shares we can make our voices heard on the board. Similar to what PETA did.

Buying stocks will only provide capital to the company. You won't have enough clout to make any actual difference even if you do get to voice things. The only thing that would bother them is a falling stock value.

To the person complaining about pseudonym remarks, if you had any kind of spine or drive you would go get another job and quit being butt hurt because your company laid you off. Just get another job no big deal. That company isn't going to change for you or anyone else.

Does anyone know where or how to begin to get a union started? I am ready. Tired of being treated like dirt.Years ago they had HR corporate legal attorneys working around the clock to prevent unions. They can't afford them anymore.

Sad to say and its been on this site 100 times. Only thing that could get their attention is Unions. They are such a big issue for companies that have to deal with them and can be very powerful. Ask Disney. Unionizing the employees would give senior leaders some major heartburn.

If the company went into bankruptcy, that doesn't get them off the hook. The parks would still have to operate while they reorganize all the debt under Chapter 11. Union leaders know all the rules and strategies that protect employees and get what they want. However, you have to pay them. What they do for you costs. At this point it would be worth it.

Someone owns 34 percent. You aren't going to out vote that. Besides the board has gone against shareholder wishes repeatedly. There has been more than one lawsuit over it.

It closed today at $15.17 a share. They can't tell us we can't buy if we aren't working.
