Look up the rules in Texas. In my state I learned that I can collect even with getting severance if I sign a release of claims, which is exactly what we had to sign. I’m still waiting on the decision to come back from mine. Every state is different apparently. If you are denied in your state, then apply for the Pandemic unemployment. You may qualify under that.
