I once attended a leadership offsite where an SVP got up to speak in front of > 100 people who had all traveled for the event. The topic was efficiency and everyone was interested in the topic. He then produced 1 slide, of Ricky Bobby, and repeated he felt the need for speed and several other junior high school cliches. That was the whole presentation. It was embarrassing, pathetic and sad, all at once. He banks over $700k a year. That’s an example of why associates are unhappy. That’s the leadership they have

Was it those Bank Solutions yahoos? Really sounds like something one of their fraudulent leaders would do during an ill-conceived offsite boondoggle.

The thrown water bottle and stomping to the back of the room like a petulant child was a nice touch as well. Overall his crew was an embarrassment around town as well
