I was RIF in Jan 2016 in a fairly large RIF. A coworker volunteered and was denied 3 times then accepted in early 2018. There have RIF going on 4 1/2 years. Most recent biggest.

RIFs started before 2019. It's been going on for several years - in spurts. A coworker was RIFd in June 2018, and his boss (director) a few months later. My coworker had been with the company 18+ years, and was a corporate employee at that point.

Yep, I had to read that twice, too. The first few pages are the RIF'd pages. the remainder 280 pages are those employees that are NOT affected by the RIF.

There definitely appears to be an age bias based on the documents provided

Those were all the RIFs since they started back in May.
It was a VERY long list.

Honeywell has about 120,00 employees total globally

So 17,000 very possible over then span when the cuts started October 2019

It doesn’t make the news because share holders are happy

What SBG does the 17000 figure relate to?

We certainly have more than 17000 employees. Even today.

Read it again. There weren’t 17000 RIF’s. There are 17,000 total employees.
