@jpe+15RYtiQb I totally get the point you are trying to make because an incident happened to a family member working from home ( different company though). While WFH a few years ago my uncle was injured when a storm came through and he was indirectly struck by lightning. The lightning struck his power line which went through his modem and fried all his equipment including burning him. Because he was working from home while this happened his company did not cover anything to do with his injury. There was extensive repair work needed at his house as well. All of which needed to be claimed through his home owners insurance. Make sure if you WFM with Verizon they provide you with the nesscessary permits and insurance before you start. My uncle was left with severe scaring that he was never compensated for.

I hope so I am a 30+ year call center employee out on short term and I found out through Facebook someone in management could have had the courtesy to contact me. But if they do offer a buyout I'm out. Honestly I don't think they will though only because they offered it to 44,000 employees last year
Your an id–t....
Question: If I do a WFH job and while cooking a pizza I burn my hand while making calls will Verizon cover my medical bills? Also if while sitting in my makeshift WFH office a bird flies through my window and pops one of my eyeballs out with its claws will Verizon compensate me?
No they are hiring more call reps and leaders. You won’t be laid off
