I was actively interviewing for a sales role within the VBG/VBM Org before the pandemic started however, weeks before my offer I was told there was a hiring freeze for external candidates- Does this still hold true? Does anyone have any insight on the hiring status and/or when external hiring freeze will be lifted?

I applied for a job once in network and as they figured out the salary cap and let my boss know they called me and said there was a hiring freeze. Several months later I asked about it and they said the position was eliminated and they wouldn't be hiring for it anymore

I can speak for VBG...only internal candidates are considered unless you get a special exemption after months of finding no internal people. Good luck, but really, after 20+ years with the company...I can say the base pay and benefits are great but the management is terrible. Quotas are often unreachable.
Why would anyone be trying to get into this toilet?
