I can still get into insite and my job was eliminated with 10,000 others in Feb 2017.
that being said print out your last paycheck and all of your benefit if you can.
To the 21 year on call colleague-
I would check your states unemployment law.
While severance may not be an option which stinks especially after 21 years of dedication.
You may still qualify for partial unemployment benefits.
I wouldn’t go by what anyone at Macy’s tells you .
Good luck to you
@1qok+15IZX1FS, why did you switch to on call? And yes you can still file for unemployment. Who told you that you couldn't? You have the earnings to prove you were working, you need to FILE!
As far as I know you can access Insite as former colleague make sue you stay in touch with your old boss. What a joke 21 years and a 5 day notice I can’t get severance pay or unemployment because I switched to temp on call even though I worked every week. My boss just read me a letter over the phone with no feeling or even I’m sorry. Good luck to all of us that got let go. It’s their loss. Stay strong. Everything happens for a reason.
I was told by HR you can still gain access But certain function will be blocked. You’ll need to set up a temporary password which will be TEMP and the last four of your social.
Hope this helps and greener pastures are ahead.I was let go as well .
You will have access to insite long after you are gone .
You will log in as former associate and have access to your medical/401K/past pay stubs/W2.
And yes be sure to have your personal contact info up to date .
STRONGER THAN MACYS !!
Not sure if you can access HR after today, save at least last 4 paystubs in case you need in the future. Good luck.
Make sure your personal email is up to date. It is how they will communicate with you... severance, etc. Good luck 👍 and very sorry
You will be able to access Insite/My Day for 30 days after your term date.
Make note of your password to get in......even though you may no longer be an active associate, you might want to be able to check on your 401K, etc. You may be locked out of some of the functions, possibly not all......you may need assistance getting your W2 next year. Thank you for your service to your customers and co workers. Good luck.
