If we’re gonna get screwed over with our pay can we at least get new uniforms instead of this awful denim on denim situation?

I don't remember who but it was someone pretty high up was at my store and was joking about how he would never be caught dead wearing our uniforms. It's like.... How do you live with yourself making hundreds of your employees come to work every day and something that you wouldn't be caught dead wearing once to a store to make your employees feel like you're on board.
I have never seen a "do nothing" DM or above wearing the denim uniform! If they were true Leaders they would wear what we wear! They like the word leadership in their conference calls, they are hypocrites of the highest order.
It is funny that these denim prison outfits are made by the same company that McDonald's uses, cintas. Now Verizon is treating their front-line employees just like McDonald's employees. we're going to have the customers use that touchscreen and you just stand by and hand them sh–.
Oh great! Can’t wait til this denim deal ends, but I’m now job hunting

@anr+15HAALIQ I agree with you 100% and besides how many reps are going to stick around knowing the expectations are still the same with less pay? It’s a recipe for disaster if you ask me. Verizon will be stuck with a lot of negative reps ( righty so) because there won’t be quality jobs available for a long time. Verizon should have offered a VSP to anyone who wanted it. I would have gladly taken it and collected unemployment until I found something better. Nobody is just going to quit without a source of income. I will say this: There is going to be a huge percentage of reps that won’t be working half as hard as they use to and abusing breaks and sick days. Verizon knows this and is prepared to weather this storm for the short term. No respect for this company anymore ..ZERO
@moc+15HAALIQ What solutions are you proposing? Nothing. That’s right lol. This has been coming for a long time. Verizon will do what it needs to do and what it wants to do. Your best option is to take advantage of the benefits and start looking elsewhere because this is just the start.
To save money, we will transition to a faded denim look.
They are pretty terrible...
They’re horrendous and no one should ever be “sick and tired” about hearing about the uniforms. They are THE worst to date and whoever is the mastermind behind it should be questioned. How about you allow us to wear the tshirts that the “elite” crowd wears on their UTS calls. The black on black “V” shirt is something that I can get behind. Give US the opportunity to choose what to wear to work.
Stop talking about stupid uniforms. We have more important things to worry about. We just got significant pay cut with new commission structure. Also, retail is slowly dying. Verizon is preparing to be online only business within next five years. There will be a limited number of express stores in the future. You are talking about damn uniforms. Just be happy that they give something to wear. I am sick and tired hearing about complain about uniforms while the house is burning down.
