I haven’t officially been told yet but I get the feeling that position will be eliminated. My store is slow to share info. No one knows what’s going on. Are there any merchandise leads that have heard anything about what our roles will be going forward

My store all leads lost their totale. Kept their pay. More responsibility are add to our workload bowt
Hourly leads losing their titles were still hourly Associates so it's a fairly even move, except there may be some who will be over the max for their new job title and that effects raises in the future.
Hourly executives losing their jobs...whole other matter! These people are faced with the loss of executive benefits and are facing pay cuts to go to an hourly job (like these captain jobs). It's not being explained at the time the supervisor or manager is told their job is gone and they are being offered something else to do. They didn't even have a new rate of pay confirmed for me and still expected me to say yes that day! Found out two days later it was a HUGE cut.
I'm taking severance after 7+ years in my job. Yes, I was an ASTS, a good one.
Good luck everyone.
What I noticed is, many people are keeping their same salary with lower titles which is fabulous and the right thing to do. However, the company is making changes to save money so will someone explain how will this work. There are terminations, but everything seem inconsistent and crazy!
I’m a RTW lead merchant and was told the lead title is going away. I will do the same job with the same salary and full time 40 hours. In our store our entire support team is staying on. We all do everything support function and have been doing so for years. We all sign, merchandise, do markdowns and fulfillment and also unload the truck.
Are captains on the executive schedule still?
All leads were not laid off!!! We kept all out leads, they lead title is no more. I think it’s either just full time colleague but doing the same job or you get the new title, captain.
All leads were laid off
