Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Facebook boycott

Why has Verizon boycotted advertising on Facebook? I can't find a real answer. Anyone have any knowledge on this?

Like others here have said, they are pretending that they care in a highly public arena instead of actually doing the right thing by their employees and society in general. It is just a big PR campaign that will fail.

Fakebook is evil. Everyone should boycott it.

FaceBook is a criminal enterprise that profits from misinformation and data collection. You should all delete your accounts. It’s a cesspool.

Why doesn't Verizon worry about treating its own employees properly before sticking its nose into Facebooks' business. Shame on you for all the people you've laid off, all the jobs you've sent offshore and all the others who's pensions and health benefits were greatly reduced (see BellTell Associates lawsuits) while prioritizing executives compensation.

It is because Verizon has become activist. Just run a fair business treatment of employees and customers. Not a company that finds it necessary to take a stand about the topic of the week.
