Claims zoom meeting

Anybody else have to do a “claims training via zoom”?
Who actually leaned anything? The back room app and claims process changed over a year and a half ago, but we get the “training” for it NOW? A complete waste of my time, the people hosting this training didn’t even seem to fully understand anything about claims. Heard lots of things I already knew, some inaccurate info and absolutely nothing else.
Side note: claims was eliminated a long time ago, why is home office still calling us claims?
What a joke.

That zoom "training" was a JOKE! Waste of time, We already figured out how to work the apps. No managers even know claims and their care factor...well, let's just say there isn't one unless the RTV report gets too big. When someone is on vacation we spend MAYBE an hour in claims because we are dealing with 2 water trucks a paper truck, meat/produce and any local deliveries. If a DC shows up before 9 we usually have to try and unload it too! 2 full time and 1 part time(that usually gets 40hrs) is ridiculous! Oh and we also have to screen associates for Covid!

I am a backroom associate & the only one there for two week days! No help! I have been there for 12 years & ready to get out! Backroom is a joke! No one wants to be back there! Managers there during day don’t have a clue!

They only care about receiving and getting DC’s done ... they only care about claims when the RTV report dollars are too high ... now they changed liquidation to this stupid new system .. which makes claims take longer and no one has time to do claims anyway ... we basically toss everything now cause it is easier ... don’t have time for anything else ...

Same here was told I had to learn to drive a forklift and receiving so I did not thrilled but I need my job. No else has learned claims so I do both. I’m lucky if I get a an hour in claims per day. Management is only concerned when the area starts looking like c-ap and the RTV and liquidation backs up. They don’t even know the difference. Basically I walk into a sh– hole every day in claims and receiving comes first.

Seemed like an insult to my knowledgeability and a waste of 4.5 hours.
Anyone else a “back room associate” but STILL the only one doing “claims” stuff, only in addition to receiving stuff??
