The Pollyanna exception that proves the rule.
Read the details on your bonus plan. They are subject to change (on a whim?) without notice. I have been out of Follett since early 2019. Before leaving I checked the details and made sure that I specified, in print and with every home office contact I made, that I was giving two week notice and would be retired effective such and such date. Fiscal year ended and at bonus time, with no advance notice, my bonus was deposited in my bank account. You folks have a whole ‘nother kettle of fish to deal with. I wish you the best and luck.
legally our money?
Ask MS. They pay him a boat load to crush the little people!
Morally for sure!
Legally?
Just like getting your 10% pay cut back. We'll see!
Remember, it's all about Living the Values!
I can understand if tbey don't have a bonus this fy but we shut down 2 weeks prior to eoy. Shouldn't the bonus plan, that is due us, legally our money?
Yes true...but they're not paying anyone....JH wasted postage
They might have revised policies, as it has been a couple years since this occurred, but I knew an SM who timed her departure for just after April 1st (new fiscal year) and they had to pay out the bonus she was due. Probably read the fine print of your bonus plan for this info.
You have a better chance of getting another stimulus package
August..lol...they fired Rick
If you quit before bonus payout I’m assuming you will not receive it correct ? Even with a proper 2 week notice ?
Asking for a friend......
Just so happy to have a job
Fine with no bonus, just give me my 10% back.
