Re: RSUs...they changed the payout policy for RSUs granted after 2016. See the top of page #10 of the FAQ doc - Log into the HPE Employee Insider homepage. In the top right corner (Intranet search box) start typing Workforce - you will see a suggestion pop up for U.S. Workforce Reduction Program (WFR) - click that link. On that page select the Information & Tools section. Open the FAQs doc. - It will give better direction on the pay out - you won't get 100% if you leave mid-year, but you won't get 0% either (it's prorated based on the # of whole months worked during the vesting period)
RSU's typically pay out upon WFR termination as a cash payment. Read the fine print of employment contract.
What org please?
RSUs are typically given as a performance bonus type of thing. I received RSUs in late 2019 labeled as “we feel you are key to the growth of the company in the next chapter” vesting over 3 years, as is typical.
What RSUs ? and why were they given to you in December 2019
I was told I would be let go in July and given some RSUs in December 2019, I guess that is all gone then.
That is a double whammy.
I am in Houston and was called by my people leader today and was told that I would be let go sometime in July. Could that be July 1st even?
What organization are you apart of?
Very likely. I got told this morning that I was going to be let go some time in July. I saw on Skype that my director was making a lot of internal calls today and saw my other colleagues with the same "In a call" status. HPE's ship is sinking much faster than other companies.
Wow! I saw all the comments about the next one assumed to be happening in July so I was surprised to see 2 WFR Notification Mondays back-to-back in the US.
Yep USA, last week we had zero notices in our group today there is a lot of back room chatter about notices.
Is your teammate in the US? I have talked to a few US based people and they heard about notices given last Monday, but none from today (yet).
Yep not me but a teammate just got their notice today.
