Maybe if you had the sakawoowoo from the bunkadunsh dubaga you would be okay, but you didn't know how to handle the situation. If the koogajaga can't succeed, then we will suffer from the ATHAWAKA deluxe.

Half the m/c shop to be converted into a drive thru car wash...
Soon or later M/C shop will be like Forge and control Facilities. DQ' strategy.
Machine shop to close and turn into a biscuit factory .
Another balloon that thinks he knows what's happening.
Mc shop to all but close, single shift with only few operators. Vast majority to be subbed out to chosen vendors as they deliver a better product at a reduced cost vs in-house.
A swift and 2 lathes? Yeah because you have been told what the plans are haven't you.
It’s so sad that anyone would want to stick around in that environment doing such terrible jobs in a horrible place for less money than ever, get your heads out your a– and open your eyes if u get offered any kind of redundancy package take it and run for the hills.there is no future there whatsoever for machinists!
It’s going to great isn’t it young viper !
Sorry there will be a Machine shop. A swift and two lathes and rest sold. Better? Your all arguing with each other not seeing that almost everyone of you are going
What planet are you on? There will be a machine shop left. A tiny one but there will still be one.
Sub con it, cheaper as no overheads of running a machine shop.
"Love the fact any of you think there’s going to be a machine shop left after they turn it into a refurb sales and service plant"
You are completely contradicting yourself. "refurb" How do you think you can do that without a machine shop?
Love the fact any of you think there’s going to be a machine shop left after they turn it into a refurb sales and service plant
Says the person reading it lol
Knock Knock ......
Mini snake?
Certainly not by me. I'm just an observer of comments.
What happens, happens. But they have been well warned about shafting people with the scoring. If they want to test those waters then they must be prepared to accept the personal consequences of their actions.
Does it not worry you that people scoring us are incapable of telling anyone they can’t do their job . These people can’t do their own jobs. It doesn’t matter though it will be a fix anyway.
Remember guys we set what the points are going to be scored on not DQ. What ever we put them as isn’t going to suit everyone unfortunately.
Oh the points had better be fair, or be prepared for a major challenge. I for one will not let it go especially after some of promotions of recent. I bet though that the points and appraisal points have been tampered with already. I’ve got some points up my sleeve though
Thing I laugh at is the poster says ‘another day goes bye’. As if as a day goes past it’s saying cheerio 😂😂
If they don't want a rotten old fish to surface then they will do the points fairly.
Do you really think the points system wil be fair???the favourites will be scored high and out of reach and the rest will be filled in to suit, even if people appeal and win extra points they’ll never catch the favourites, they know who’s staying before things even get going.
The points better not shaft people this time. If it does then who knows what old fish could resurface. There is some long nights ahead so get plenty of sleep. Afterall the last thing anyone wants is to be caught sleeping on the job.
Respect went out the window for all when they made that cowardly move and promoted someone not fit for the job, only because they were terrified of someone standing up to them. They made a laughing stock of themselves not just in machine shop but entire plant
The reason so many people air their issues with the m/c shop on here rather than going to their supervisor is because they know that the guy's on the shop floor are so divided that they won't get any support and then the supervisory team just singles out that person and makes their life a misery.
What’s wrong with these people
Your right, they do poke their noses in to other departments. One of the supervisors keeps going in to T&A on nights trying to catch them out.
The last good man to apply for promotion within the machine shop that deserved it got knocked back because he would have asked questions if he didn't agree with decisions.
It’s not just m/c that the 3 of them are horrible to , they stab other departments in the back every day . It really is horrible
Even creeping about t@a at night , very strange behaviour
Exactly the creepy ways wouldn’t be tolerated in another normal workplace the men would chase them out .
People should be promoted for Deserving it, not for hanging off the person Above. Blake it’s time to open your eyes and see who is k–ling your machine shop, who bully’s the men and keeps the moral down.
Exactly, they think there the best, but have been here a very long time, only know dq, would be found out in a month in another m/c shop and they know it, maybe why so bitter, sad guys, but the truth hurts.
He is right bad supervisors moving on and replacing them with others who have a– kissed for years following their lead like sheep, and when in their new roles they act exactly the same as the guys who came before and the horrible cycle continues. Same goes for charge hands no place has a worse moral but soon they will All have to face reality in a new company like the rest of you guys in there. And it will b an eye opener.
The top dogs in m/c shop constantly go on about us being useless or the skill level being bad. Look in the mirror at yourself in your new positions and then look at the mess it’s in . They men have no respect for you it’s time to hand your stripes back and let us be happy once again.
Well said !
Having worked with DQE for a longtime I can tell you there is obviously a major problem in the Aberdeen machine shop. The quotes of "if you aren't just leave" are obviously coming from the people that are causing the problems. When the last Foreman was in charge thing's gradually got worse and worse up until he left. Things are much worse now then they ever have been and the common theme seems to be that most of the last Foreman's supervisory team is still in place albeit in promoted positions which doesn't take a genius to work out who must be causing the problem in the machine shop. Management must have seen all the posts on here and must start questioning that supervisory team to why there is such a problem in there.
