Working at a PMT site in new York. Anyone hear of anything coming my way?

Historically when we have had an early reduction in a given year, there tends to be another round before year end, usually by November. I hope not, but the trend points that way.
Would it be wrong to hope I get a layoff?
PMT has had a few, but it’s looking like more in June
