Let's see how the Hungerford closing rumour pans out......................

Has Tom bought P&O?

Post ID: @aJeon+154y9TPM

Indeed. The CDK rumour mill was a whirlwind of wild speculation and hearsay to begin with, and that's before you throw in a load of people stressing - with damn good reason - about their job security, expecting the worst, service levels in Support falling off a cliff, and information simply getting muddled/amplified as it passes from person to person.

The claim about Hungerford closing was clearly bu-----t, but it's not exactly surprising if there were some other false positives. It hardly qualifies as an orchestrated misinformation campaign.

Whether you like it or not one thing is unfortunately true, the embarrassing and ridiculous management of the company that has been going on for over a year .....

Whether you like it or not there has been a lot of nonsense posted here - I.e big names like lookers and sytner moving to pinewood was not true; sales being moved to India, was not true; hungerford office closing wasn’t true etc etc

Facetious responses to tone-deaf comments aside, for the record many of us who are gone still have a huge amount of sympathy and concern for our former colleagues, and the misery and anxiety they've been put under this last year. We're as much motivated by outrage over that as we are by any bitter-prole resentment at having our own livelihoods pulled from under us. I for one thank my lucky stars I was let go, I was spared a world of unhappiness and uncertainly, and have since moved on to a much better job.

Nobody likes to see the rich and privileged get away with shafting the workforce for the sake of lining their pockets, and anybody with a thimbleful of empathy or solidarity for their colleagues (past or present) should be capable of comprehending why so many people remain invested in/disgusted by the whole situation.

... how dare you complain. The evil poor employees who have lost their jobs and worry about the oh so happy customers. And only all the remaining colleagues, who are certainly very pleased to hold phone calls with all the absolutely frustrated customers.
But seriously, is that a happy and motivating way to work? Are you happy to be allowed to work in the morning when the alarm clock goes off?
@Ortega and the following 2 Anonymous:
You don't seem to sit at the front, or to be new to it (formerly CDK), otherwise you could distinguish between truth and lie. Or you want to move the truth only with your comments in the bad light.
All colleagues, even those who were still there before the layoffs and have worked in the company for decades, know the truth.

Imagine - coming on a site called the thelayoff.com and daring to bi--h about losing our jobs... What a nerve we all have.

Won't somebody think about the poor still-employed people, having to come here and read all our complaining??

Happier will be all the terminated former employees and colleagues now in any case. However, all the remaining employees are anything but happy and some will and have already quit, because in this company no one really has a good perspective anymore.
Furthermore, the remaining colleagues are now being burned in the truest sense of the word.
In Germany, the colleagues are totally up in the air and left to their own devices.
There is almost no support for the customers, they are left to their own devices or just dispatched, because you can no longer speak of a professional support and care, as even if all competent employees with expertise were eliminated. All customers are dissatisfied. What Keyloop communicates that the customers would be satisfied and the support is currently best, these are lies.

Alot of the comments on here are from ex employees so maybe people have just moved on and realised that if they are actually happy in their new jobs then they don't need to constantly bi--h about their old company?

No new comments since end of january. That might tell us, that noone is left from the old "core" anymore and those remaining are just doing their Jobs. So KillBills's plan of dismanteling the whole structure was a success, at least for him.

The few positive comments here and insane positive reviews on Glassdoor are clearly written by the HR Joy Vacuums groupies in internal communications and the KLT. I saw a current Keyloop employee only a few weeks ago and they looked physically ill from the stress of working in a place with pseudo leaders and buzzword strategies. Any employees still at Keyloop, talk to your ex-colleagues and they can help you find new, better and happier jobs. Get out while you can. Save yourselves!

Horrible to come back here to read all this.

Me and nearly all of us who left or were pushed out last year have landed in far better jobs.
I have never been happier at work.

My advice to anyone unhappy but still working here is to jump ship.
You will almost certainly be better off.

One of the problems: The management can't decide any important things anymore. And also many managers weren't able to really lead employees, since they simply never learned to do so. And then there are no consequences for a manager, if the company goes bancrupt. He then should be held accountable, but that's not the case.

Well said, I completely agree. All done for the rich to richer. KLT and the CEO only interested in their exit bonus of £M figure sums. They will do anything and I mean anything to succeed, everyone and everything else is instantly disposable.

Tell you what's hard mate, being suddenly unemployed from the company you've invested years of hard work and dedication into. Especially when there's no good reason other than a load of rich investors have turned up and kicked all the furniture over for no good reason other than lining their already stuffed pockets, without stopping to gain an actual understanding of the company first.

If you're still there and reasonably happy, congratulations, but be aware that in itself puts you in a position of privilege, and I'd assume chances are you're not on the front line either, because very few of those guys have been having a good time over the last few months between the workload, the angry customers and all the worry and uncertainly over job security. It would be naive to assume that anybody is safe from being chopped the minute they're not longer deemed useful, under the new regime.

Change was needed, but it didn't need to be like this, it's not like the company wasn't turning a profit. Too many good people were thrown away needlessly.

not all the glassdoor comments are fake. i left one and i am a "normal" employee - not management. I like it, it's going through change which can be hard but it is not a bad place to work. some of the comments are laughable and it makes you wonder if its even employees leaving them

Fake Glassdoor reviews are fairly common practice amongst unscrupulous companies trying to obscure cultural problems or organisational dysfunction from potential new hires, it's by no means unique to CDK/Keyloop.

Post ID: @9Jacj+154y9TPM

Previously under CDK, support managers actively encouraged(pressured) Team leaders to add on positive reviews on Glassdoor.
Since then I never believe what is on there.
They would be more productive addressing the issues rather than posting fake news.

Looks like they've got people tasked with clicking the "Helpful" button to boost the fake positive reviews to the top of the list as well.

Well the 5 star review didn't come from any customers, Keyloop are shocking. Four weeks on average for support to answer a call. All the good people from Kerridge of old all gone.

Another bonus paid for a 5star glassdoor review just posted. Basically outlining that keyloop is a brilliant company to work for. The problem was the original staff unable to see the light and not the new incompetent KLT and business strategy. Makes you want vomit it’s so sickening. Like the post below get out is great advice, shame someone might join based on the BS on Glassdoor.

The shitstorm would be the least of my worries in returning.

The new corporate overlords have shown themselves time and time again to be disingenuous, manipulative, arrogant, lacking in any effective leadership, and they either don't know, or care, what the reality is at ground level. The business strategy seems to have be based on thinking they have both remaining staff and remaining customers over a barrel and trying to get away with as much as they can while stripping the company to the bare minimum. The community and morale has been scorched and a great many of the people I loved working with and who made the company what it was are gone. On a technical level the company is a provincial backwater.

I'll stick with my new, more challenging and interesting (and not to mention better paid) job thanks. There is currently huge opportunity to be had in the worlds of both automotive and IT, it's a candidates' market so for anybody that's left don't be afraid to get yourselves out there and shop around, there are brighter futures out there. You don't owe any further loyalty to something that no longer exists.

RIP CDK.

I believe that former employees can apply for the support roles that are advertised and they would be looked on favourably.
Question is, would you want to come back to a S*** Storm
