My friend in hiring said that retail store managers are going to report direct to Directors starting in September and they will be doing hiring freeze on that but I don’t see how it is possible. Have you heard that?

Look out for a new level 2 title to replace DOS and ARSM called “Associate Retail Sales Director” ;)
Hiring could get information in advance when they get the hiring freeze orders.
Your friend wouldn’t know if they are not a level 5+. Stuff like this is just rumors and doesn’t make sense.
If you read the posts on this page half of them say something different. One yesterday said that directors were being surplused and the ARSMs would roll to a VPGM.
