Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Just for a little background look
Up data breaches for many third party integrations used and also for State Farm. It was all very quiet and not made public. Not sure why or how. But makes sense as to maybe why bank and agency force was heavily impacted.

It took me awhile but I learned well NEVER bite the hook and believe what any in executive say. The Farmer from Merna would wrap and pray for the company today. They are not about their neighbor. Scary.

I have to mute the TV any time that blasted commerical comes on. I can't stand hearing that bald-headed f#wad.

This has been years in the making and wasn't a surprise to anyone with any sense of an analytical mind. I left 8 years ago and knew this was happening. How could you have been on the inside and not known. There has been a mass exodus for several years and the decision to "partner" with Quicken on the mortgage side a year ago should have raised all sorts of red flags.

I like how people on here think that a bank business analyst is someone who only understands banking. Lol

Sorry, I do feel for you, but this was a long time coming and I’m surprised it snuck up on you. A virtual bank that had maybe the worst website ever. Did you ever take the time to try to open a deposit account online?

Also, you can still apply for many of the open jobs within the company.

And unlike about every other company in the world, SF gave you a several month notice plus severance. No other company is that nice.

Sure the concept of bank wasn’t doing well. It was mismanaged. Don’t worry - those guys still have jobs.

On behalf of the rest of the organization good riddance to the bank. It got more time and resources than it ever deserved. Good decision-except it should have been made five years ago.

There are lots of banks in the area. You should apply for one of those jobs!

I’m very sorry you are losing your job but they are closing the bank. Why would bank analysts be needed if there is no bank? Again. Very sorry for your personal situation.
