Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

No one cares anymore everyone is burned out!

Our store did 350 grand on saturday today uo to 270 and counting. Every department is wore out. Our DS in Hardware and Tools wants us to task put up a pallet of hillman and do downstock worksheets in the middle of the day plus help customers. We cant do all of this at once not when 30 to 40 people are lining up wanting help like we are the Gods of the tools and hardware. What the hell is local managment thinking? Plus close and sanitize department thoroughly. Everybody in our store is burned out and so is all other stores. It's like we are fighting an uphill battle with chopsticks while the masses have machine guns blowing us away. Any thoughts on this? Oh yeah ol Marv's land.

Its out of control. The ASMs have no clue how to handle it, making it worse then hiding in offices, and the SM is giddy about how much $$& we’re making.

Lowes has done nothing to prepare any management to deal with crisis. They can barely understand their jobs as it is! I was loading an order after pulling carts in and then went to help ring down lines while the bells are going off in my department, and my lazy ASM came out from the office and yelled at me for ringing then told me to get back to my department! She then told me to make sure that all the faucets were front facing forward while I was at it! Then she went back into the office while there was a line crawling down through the store! I couldn’t f—ing believe it and neither could any of the customers.

I hate this place so much, I would walk out of here so quickly if my wife wasn’t battling breast cancer. I hate this place, I hate it so much, which I tell the customers every day why I hate it, as do all the associates. We’ve been treated like such sh– between the company and customers facing this pandemic, even though we are all busting our asses nonstop, literally injuring ourselves to keep up and nobody even says thank you. Now absolutely none of us care about any of it and we just started treating the customers like total sh– and then tell them to call corporate to complain. Better yet, telling them post to Facebook about how much a Lowes s—s.
