Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Random Observation

With working from home and having the TV on a whole lot more than normal, one thing I've noticed is our advertising s—s. I will say I have seen more ads by AT & T than I ever have and they were not trying to sell anything yet promoted everything they were doing to support first responders and families around the country.
By contrast you barely see a Verizon ad, then when you do its to sell Fios or so generic that it was forgettable.
This company just continues to get more and more disconnected from society.

Wow. It was just my personal observation. It was not intended to provoke harsh critique or snarky replies.
No I don't watch Oxygen. Don't even know what channel or theme of shows they display.
I used AT&T as an example because their commercials came across with a different tone. They are far from the only ones that came across as not blatantly selling a plan or a fios rental, and more of a social commentary of what we're all experiencing.
But let me not exacerbate the topic as it appears I'm wrong in my observations.

Be Well & Carry On.

U want the company to waste money on useless ads?

att is busy on social media promoting a failed tv service that costs $49 per month the first year and $100 per month the second year with 2 year commitment. That is what every unemployed quarantined person wants - an overpriced TV service with contract LOL.

does OP really want VZ to advertise products it can't support now? network is strained. techs are not entering homes. and there has been no fios advertising for weeks.

And just so you know....saying at&t is not trying to sell you anything is adorable, it’s called first net.

Couldn't disagree more. I’ve def seen a lot of Verizon campaigns besides fios Verizon Business Ready - support for first responders etc. you probably have to watch something besides the Oxygen channel.......BUUUUUUURN!
