Production manager that should be fired in BV for incompetence still here. Amazing but true.

20ish DEs and 6 rigs. Makes sense.
So ops doesn’t get hit hardly at all and the BUs take a brunt of the reduction. What am I missing here? Why do we need so many ops folks with so little field activity?
Why is EHS being protected? Do they need so many managers in OKC? What do they do at this point? Do they need a VP? For what? What does this position actually do in such a downturn? Well, in this case the same thing it’s been doing for well over a year, nothing... Corporate headcount could be cut in half and all the same work will get done starting at the top. H-ll just turn it over to legal. It worked when the position was vacant and wayyyyyyy more got done and people were happier.
Yup, the “ privileged” chosen to “go down with the ship” will end up with nothing!!!!!
I heard nobody in drilling or completions in the office was was cut. Is that true?
GC lost 2 managers but both have needed to happen for a looooong time.
BV has DT. You guys are better off than STX with Double D earning his pay by watching Trackopolis, chewing on a toothpick, giving fake smiles asking what he can do for you.
If only management would ask who would take a severance package, the company could save a lot of money.
