Thank you to my coworkers who have listened to me whine Moan and complain. Who have lifted me up when I was down. I am happy to be serving our members during this crisis. Our most vulnerable population is often the most overlooked. The calls have been a mix of heart break and relief when I could provide them with something they needed.

Humana and Cigna ARE NOT the only insurance companies covering free care for Covid-19 related costs, others like BCBS are also.
Yes it feels nice to be doing work that actually makes a difference for a Change. Not calling to an audit and messing with care plans. The insurance companies have not received bailout money yet. Hopefully they do. This could bankrupt them.

To me it seems like we are helping members more than we ever have, everyone that we call is at risk and needing information and fearful. We are making a difference and there is no petty nonsense of changing care plans and audits that make no sense . We are getting to the heart of the matter.
I’m proud to work for an insurance company who is covering the cost of care for members who have the coronavirus. Humana at this point in time you’re doing the right thing. Thank you!
