They were in trouble before corona hit, now they’re getting ahead of this by giving all these employees medical benefits for the next 6 months. I’m sure we’ll be seeing something similar with our stock at $4.20...the end has unfortunately been expedited.

Collect unemployment for the time being, update your resumes, and please stay home. Most people that work in retail are in the same boat but Macy's was already struggling. As work resumes expect slashed hours and some stores(Neighborhood+Selected Core stores) will be going to liquidation. Most likely they will not offer a severance package going forward. Take this time to prepare for a career change. To my Macys Family, Be safe and well.
