Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Marvin is just reacting to bad press to calm people down. Contact your local news so we can force his hand.

The next step would be to contact your local news and complain about the stores not limiting the amount of customer that come into the store.

You really want to be out of work dont you. I find the only people complaining are the ones who just want that extra paid time off.

Until this affects someone that they know or a family member most people refuse to believe that this is real. They think it’s overblown.

On person, one cart. Mom and the kids need to wait outside in the car. If you need a refrigerator or water heater, bring a truck so we can load it and you can be out of there. Sorry, no paint swatches for granny, no mulch for Mildred, and no Trex samples for Gomer. Store Mgrs and ASM’s need to be the ones outside enforcing this. Period.

Tell your local news to film all the essential buyers when Spring Black Friday sales start.

Have a reporter ask for the sales by department from the reports that are announced in each morning meeting.

Have them ask for the customer count per hour, which is tracked.

Have them pull up the cashier dashboard.

There are ways to prove the "essential" lies.

People need to learn and stay home, the stores are packed wall to wall lines going down aisles, a ton of associates going out, all my stores managers are stressed and exhausted they all look like hell the store manager is even burned out I seen my store manager jump on a register to help cashiers they get on the forklifts and I seen them loading customers, all our managers are even going around to associates asking if they have food, water, paper towels and stuff needed for their own family’s I watched a manager bring in cases of water and give them to associates.

Corporate needs to do something and start limiting how many people are allowed in the store I feel half of my store is going to end up with this virus and everyone here is so kind and wants to help each other I would hate to see anyone of them sick or worse. We even had someone who was coughing all over the place and they refused to leave they kept on touching everything getting close to employees, our store manager went over there and talked to the person I don’t no what they said but they walked the person out of the store.

It’s just getting out of control and I am actually worried my friends here and everyone is going to get sick and take it home to their family’s.

Our local channels have shown the parking lot at a Lowe’s and a mayor commented on the crowds at a Lowe’s in his district but nothing has changed. Seems as though nothing can stop the madness.
