Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Wait for the lawsuits when associates start dying

Just wait until a Lowe’s associate dies or infects customers that end up dying. While it is horrific to state this it is only a matter of time before this happens. There will be a litany of multi million dollar lawsuits against this company for failing to keep their employees and customers safe during an international pandemic. Corporate needs to make some decisions quickly.

It’s not just the pandemic that we are at risk from. I work closing and last week starting 90min before closing a mad rush to get all grills, mowers, and snowblowers from outside the store to inside. It was strange and when I asked never got a straight answer, it was likely I didn’t have the right security clearance. I checked local news sites to see if any rioting, but there were none. Next day I worked associate rumor mill told me a customer unhappy with their order status was at customer service and threatening to come back and do Significant Damage to the store. Police were called to notify them of possible future event.
BUT did they tell us, NO. I am not a loader, cart person, but Always go out to dark parking lot to get them so,I can get out by closing time. Virtually no one else gets them but me. I’d be a lovely target out there by myself if unhappy customer comes by with a weapon. It’s been a week now and nothing moved back outside, I won’t be hanging around outside anymore during work even tho I’m OSLG. Out doors are not always open with cashier shortage, but no more getting carts for me. Pisses me off mgmt didn’t tell Associates about this threat.

Also don't forget, you only get 7 day a year for being absent, leaving early ( if needed), with-out consequences. By the 10th you're terminated. ( that's included with if there are not any-other issue, if so they are combined..)

Unfortunately, you have to sign waiver/Arbitration Agreement in order to work here.
So, that's the loop hole for them to get out of it.

Sign up stores 0520, 1771, 0513, 1511, 2546, 2601, 1542

I mean sign up the entire stores, corporate continues to push the mo–nic ap4me b.s. but can't deem us worthy of consistency enforcing limiting customers. The Orange guys are and our store's are blowing up wall to wall customers not buying necessary and essential items. Seriously are moth balls and 3m hooks essential, are 2nd deep freezers essential, is deck stain or blue masking tape and Sherwin Williams glitter packs essential people?!

Seriously employees and going to get SICK because of corporate greed. We have families too Marvin.

Corporate Still hasn't been willing to answer the question many employees are asking, what happens if and when employees have to take time off to care for themselves or one family member, the has to take time off again a second or third or fourth time because MANY families have multiple family members living in their homes.

The employees need answers
